The idea of wanting to become a volunteer to actually becoming one started about a year ago. After months of research, informational meetings, and deliberation I decided to fill out an application with the international development agency Volunteer Services Overseas (VSO).
VSO has several volunteer recruitment offices around the world. Interested applicants from Canada or the United States are routed through VSO's Ottawa office.
